I went for the turkish bath,Oh my god from the moment I entered to the Gisoo salon I was very welcome. The lady who did my bath I think her name was Danny,She was very professional and friendly,she made me feel very relaxed.My bath was followed by an amazing Mint Tea,I cant say Thank you enough to the Gisoo Salon Team.Thank you and see you again soon for sure.

Absolutely disgusting service from the Manager!! After purchasing a hammam experience for 2 via wowcher, we had booked to go to Giso! I had called to notify the manager that I had been notified on the same day as our hammam that we had been in close contact with someone who had tested positive for covid, which meant we had to wait to carry out a PCR test and possibly self isolate, this meant in order to protect the safety of everyone we wanted to reschedule. The manager demanded proof, and even went as far as to ask me to ask my friend who tested positive, to email her directly, (which she did!!!), she sent an email of a photo directly to the manager of her positive lateral test. The manager then called to say she needed a further email/text message stating the positive test, even though I explained several times that it was a rapid LATERAL test done at home and that we were notified of the result via a phone call from my friend. The manager then went on to insult and offend me to say the test could be anyone's and that she demanded more information in order for her to even consider rescheduling our appt, when I stated we were notifying her to think about the safety of her staff etc by wanting to reschedule she then went on to say we need to come in and do a lateral test in her salon downstairs. She clearly wasn't bothered about the safety of everyone, especially given the new variant and went on to say she wouldn't reschedule unless we were to come in and do a test at her salon, she clearly isn't bothered about govt guidelines around covid. When I mentioned I had paid over £70 for the experience and due to the unforeseen circumstance, it would be too risky and to protect the safety of everyone and to also wait for our pcr result, she then went on to say 'you haven't paid me, you've paid Wowcher!' A disgusting, unprofessional response!! From someone who clearly doesn't mind putting others at risk, and happily takes paying customers money whether it was through wowcher or not and not be prepared to even accomodate or even be flexible on a situation that was out of our hands. On top of that she continued several times to infer that my friends test result might not be hers and that it could be anyones, in other words accusing us of lying!! I decided to not go to this experience which was meant as a birthday gift, I would rather lose out on £70 than come in for a service from a place such as Giso where we've already been insulted before we've even got there!!! By someone who calls herself a manager you clearly don't have a duty of care and not bothered about putting others at risk. Disgusting, unprofressional and would AVOID at all costs!!!

Great and not overpriced manicure

Booked Hamman Spa on wowcher, good deal for service provided. Zen the massure was really good with positive energy and charisma throughout. She was also very attentive to my needs/requests and provided good customer service. The place was clean and had a private spacce to myself which was nice.

I recently visited Gisoo using a wowcher deal for its Turkish Hammam services. It's the first time I have visited a Turkish hammam and it was an uncomfortable experience. I was asked to spend 20 mins in the steam room before a scrub - the steam stopped after a few minutes and I was basically sitting in a stuffy dark room with no steam. Lying face down on the block of white marble for a scrub and foam, my knees and hip bones were pressing against the hard surface - not enjoyable at all. The Ethiopian lady who did the scrub/foam is very strong and applied quite a lot of force while doing the scrubbing and scrubbed off my skin in a couple of places. I am just hoping the crust will fall off without leaving any marks. Being small and slim, I also found her massage too strong. I guess the strength would be OK for heavier people than me. The scrub room was very slippery with all the water and foam on the floor, extreme care was needed coming down the white block of marble. Then came the shower, the shampoo and conditioner were nice but there was no hairdryer available to dry my hair. I basically had to walk back home for 30 mins with wet hair. Thankfully, the weather was nice on the day. Imagine walking around with wet hair in winter! Horrible! No idea if all turkish hammam experiences are like that but I am unlikely to be trying again! Oh and one of the ladies ran after me after I left asking loudly in the street if I have paid. When I called to book the appointment, I told them I bought a voucher and will be using it. I was asked to text the voucher code before they texted back confirming the booking. You would think they would have such details on their system!

I went to Gisoo with my husband for Turkish hammam experience for his birthday . we absoulately loved it, we will definitely return.

The managers behaviour was despicable and completley unprofessional. I booked a hamam experience for 2 over the phone for friday and i specifically clarified by saying tomorrow and she said yes. When i got there she informed me that it was actually booked for the next day. Instead of apologising and rebooking she shouted at me infront of other customers in the shop repeating that it couldnt have been her mistake. I left feeling extremely stressed and upset the exact reason i had booked the experience in the first place and on top of that i had booked the time of work for it. Avoid at all costs I would not want anyone to go through them same thing! Response to your response: Not once did i shout, your manager was shouting at me so i left to escape the abuse. I have read other reviews here of people that have had the same experience as me. The mistake of the booking was not the issue and i did not receive a text message. As you said mistakes happen (and i can prove the conversation that was had by getting a recording sent to me) The issue was how she dealt with it, i would have been happy to rebook if her behaviour wasnt so appalling! I have never experienced anything like that in my life.

Loved getting my hair balayage and cut by Mehnaz she's a brilliant stylist, I would highly recommend her and the place, service was brilliant

I came here for my 1st hammam and I can definitely say I was not disappointed! My masseuse was a lady named Z, she was so welcoming and professional. She made me feel very relaxed and my skin was so smooth after the trea!ment. I'll be returning for sure!

I had great experience! I visited the salon for the Turkish Bath session and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't know what to expect as this was my first time at the salon and having this type of treatment and was pleasantly surprised. The environment was clean and attractive really getting you in the zone ready for the experience, I did not have to wait long for my masseuse Zewditu, who greeted me with a warm welcome. She made me feel at ease and was thorough in her execution of my scrub and massage applying the right pressure needed to ease the tension in my neck and back. She is truly an asset as I said to the manager as you can tell she enjoys what she does and knows how to cater to the individual needs of each client without making them feel like a transaction; her focus was purely on ensuring I was relaxed and came away with a positive experience - which she was able to achieve effortlessly. Thank you.

My husband and I went for a morrocan hammam and it was amazing. We had such a lovely time, we felt that we were on holiday. Gisoo sent us a text confirmation and answered any questions we had which were answered straight away. On the day,we were welcomed my the manager who introduced us to Zed. She explained very clearly what the experience would include and informed us of any covid rules to keep us safe and her self which was very professional. Me and husband used the sauna first where we applied a paste to open up our pores. The sauna room was amazing, it reminded me of the luxury Roman baths that I teach children about. We love it it was clean and beautiful decorated. We then cooled yourself down with some cold water. I then had a massage, this was so relaxing Zed made me feel so rejuvenated and smooth. She used a Mitt to remove all my dead skin and then covered me in foam. Zed made us feel comfortable and respected our requirement . We finished off with Turkish tea and zed kindly took our picture ( shes so kind). Then we got talking to the manager who was so sweet and friendly. I recommend this for couples, friends or family who want to get away and just relax. It is also in a nice area where there any many restaurants to choose from too. See you soon!

My friend and I enjoyed the experience of Hammam Bath in Gisoo. The staff was nice and Zed (massager) was amazing, friendly to us and it was our pleasure to meet her. We would go back again at this place when you need a break from work as it is relaxing.

Today to celebrate my friends birthday, we used wowcher to pay for this experience to do the Turkish Hamman. My sister, friend and I had an awful experience it was funny. In a simple put way….. Towels for £3 each if you don’t bring your own, which was not expressed on the phone Shared shoes from staff member to client not washed, not enough sliders for clients Only 2 exfoliating mitts, which we had to share as a group Rude manager working upstairs rolled her eyes at us, her clients Zed who work downstairs with us, was super friendly but gave an awful painful massage and didn’t explain everything we needed to do before, during and after the procedure but friendly none the less Sauna was WAY too hot We had a plastic tub of Gel that was used between us all, and no spatula or anything to make it sanitary, and we had to apply it all by ourselves Overall Very unprofessional Argon oil shampoo bottle filled with kids shampoo Chalk powder for exfoliating for an extra £7, so a hidden charge again Hair dryers upstairs and not downstairs, made it really awkward and unpleasant to get ready to leave Shower head was broken in the rooms We practically did the treatments ourselves See splashed us in the face with her bowl with no warning after the foam wash and massage. That massage left me and my sister with bruising. The only positive was how beautiful the sauna room was. The only thing. And there’s probably more that I’ve missed. Hopefully this critique will help the store improve, and make the staff realise they need to be a lot friendlier and professional in the services to build and maintain new clientele long term.

The staff are very welcoming, professional and great fun. Always happy and smiling and attentive. Would recommend strongly!

I booked a Hammam Spa at this salon for my partner and I. It was his first time and I wanted it to be perfect and it was. The staff were warm and welcoming from the minute we entered. They were friendly and ever so professional. They were very attentive and thorough throughout the whole experience. The massage was amazing, the exfoliating scrub was amazing, the extra attention to detail was perfect. My partner and I had a great experience and he said it was exactly what he needed to unwind so thank you so much. The establishment was clean, tidy and well kept. It looked exactly the same as the pictures which was even better. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you are looking for a wonderfully, relaxing experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the Hammam treatment at Gisoo and already booked for a second visit. My friends and I felt very comfortable and looked after. So nice to have a ladies only space!
