Today to celebrate my friends birthday, we used wowcher to pay for this experience to do the Turkish Hamman. My sister, friend and I had an awful experience it was funny. In a simple put way….. Towels for £3 each if you don’t bring your own, which was not expressed on the phone Shared shoes from staff member to client not washed, not enough sliders for clients Only 2 exfoliating mitts, which we had to share as a group Rude manager working upstairs rolled her eyes at us, her clients Zed who work downstairs with us, was super friendly but gave an awful painful massage and didn’t explain everything we needed to do before, during and after the procedure but friendly none the less Sauna was WAY too hot We had a plastic tub of Gel that was used between us all, and no spatula or anything to make it sanitary, and we had to apply it all by ourselves Overall Very unprofessional Argon oil shampoo bottle filled with kids shampoo Chalk powder for exfoliating for an extra £7, so a hidden charge again Hair dryers upstairs and not downstairs, made it really awkward and unpleasant to get ready to leave Shower head was broken in the rooms We practically did the treatments ourselves See splashed us in the face with her bowl with no warning after the foam wash and massage. That massage left me and my sister with bruising. The only positive was how beautiful the sauna room was. The only thing. And there’s probably more that I’ve missed. Hopefully this critique will help the store improve, and make the staff realise they need to be a lot friendlier and professional in the services to build and maintain new clientele long term.
