WARNING For Asian hair type. The salon has little to no understanding of Asian hair or at least South east Asian hair. Kamilia, the person who wash and cut my hair (can't bring myself to call the hair stylist because I wholeheartedly believes that they are not even professionally trained. Even though they claimed that the person have 5 years of experiences). They claimed that my hair was greasy in the midst of washing my hair when in fact I just have the typical glossy, shiny Asian hair. I asked for a bob cut and after sitting in the chair for 2 hours ( no exaggeration), my hair was not even cut straight and my fringe looked like the impulsive cut that you do in the middle of the night to add a little flair. Only to regret it instantly. The cut was so bad it was laughable. If it wasn't my hair. It was so bad that the receptionist had to stepped in and explained to them; what should already be understood. I got up and sat back down on that chair 3 times until I have had enough. In addition to all of this, the lady scalded my scalp with the hairdryer and the most painful hair thinning process I have experienced in my life. I have thick hair so I have to have my hair thined every time I get my hair cut and this is the most painful one I had in my entire life. Finally, the salon refused a refund. The manager aggressively implied that this needs to be done through Treatwell, as I've booked the service through the app. However, after speaking with Treatwell, they said this needed to be handled by the salon. Through it all, after voicing my complaint through my tears. You can't blame me. I am an hour away from home and I have something to do later. I was distraught with the fact I have to be outside with the awful haircut. And with my graduation in 2 days. The manager said I wish this is the only bad thing in your life. Implied this is not a big deal. Completely dismissing my feeling of the whole ordeal. They did however offer to fix it for me. THE NEXT DAY. Imagine having to go out again with the haircut just put me in a anxious spiral. I was so anxious that I can't even bring myself to photograph the evidence. Finally, I went to get my hair fixed elsewhere as the trust was gone. EDIT I've received my refund from Gisoo. The salon contacted me directly after a couple of days after this review. The management was very fair with their response. Thank you, Gisoo.
