Rated 3 out of 5GoogleI purchased a 3-session PRP hair loss package on Groupon for £150. For my first session, the practitioner drew my blood quickly and painlessly. However, the clinic didn’t offer numbing cream unless you specifically ask for it. I only knew to request it because I had read other reviews beforehand, which meant waiting extra time for it to be applied. It would have been better if they informed clients on arrival so the cream could be applied while the blood is being prepared. The practitioner herself was patient and paused whenever I needed during the injections. However, there was very little consultation or explanation about PRP in person. Before the appointment, they sent two forms on WhatsApp explaining what PRP is, along with possible side effects and aftercare. There was also no proper scalp examination. When I asked about treating the back of my scalp, the practitioner initially said I didn’t need it without properly checking. The procedure was extremely painful for me, despite some reviews saying it was painless. My next session was better, and the practitioner was more conversational and explained that the pain may come more from the plasma than the needle. However, my appointment was delayed by around 30 minutes. While waiting, I also noticed other customers seemed unaware that numbing cream was available until midway through their treatment. The clinic should make this clearer to clients beforehand. Overall, the practitioner was patient, but the experience felt a bit rushed and transactional, with minimal consultation or aftercare advice. The price was very cheap compared to other clinics, which may be because they only treat part of the scalp rather than the full scalp. I might have continued when the Groupon deal was £150 for three sessions, but now that the price has increased significantly, I’m not sure it’s worth it.
Thank you for taking the time to give such detailed feedback. We are pleased that you found the practitioner patient and supportive, but we are sorry that parts of the experience felt rushed and that information about numbing cream, scalp assessment, treatment coverage, aftercare and waiting time was not as clear or consistent as it should have been. We have been reviewing these parts of the patient journey so that expectations are clearer before treatment and communication is more consistent on the day. If you would like us to review your experience or treatment plan personally, please contact us at [email protected]. We genuinely value feedback like this because it helps us improve.
