May 2021 - I'm male so all you men out there thinking skin treatments are just for women, you may be surprised to learn as I was that many clients are male!. I have been to HSA three times now over a year, for rosacea. I was recommended IPL, and something I had never heard of called Dithermy (a tiny warm needle). Each time I was welcomed and set at ease by Hala and Jennifer, and told the treatment process in advance and some of the possible temporary side effects I may get afterwards (redness etc). I think everyone feels these treatments differently, I hardly felt the dithermy at all on my first visit, and the IPL is as everyone else out there says - like someone flicking an elastic band on your face, you wouldn't do it for fun but it's not the end of the world when it happens !. All treatments for me were less than 30 minutes total. I was lucky enough to have minimal side effects, and noticed an improvement in my rosacea anything between a few days and progressing over a few weeks to a month!. You can tell that Hala and Jennifer are very knowledgeable, they really make me feel like I am in safe hands and doing the right thing. I also asked Hala for her views (see her professional profile) on other medical things not to do with skin, and she has been incredibly helpful with that too. HSA has been a great find for me, reasonable prices, knowledgeable and friendly people, positive results from treatment. In the words of Arni Swarzenegger 'ill be back' !
